Venetian Night Details
Rescheduled from last Fall to this summer- the CLYC proudly presents Venetian Night!
What’s a Venetian Night Boat Parade? Boat owners get creative by decorating boats with lights (inspiration links provided below) and cruise along shorelines at dusk for all to enjoy. We will meet at the CLYC grounds to load boats, cruise around Cedar Lake as a group, enjoy the sunset, and then come in for a casual cocktail party. Please bring a dish to share!
Also, for those who are decorating boats, if you have additional space and are willing to host passengers OR if you are boatless but interested in a ride, send us a email and we’ll attempt to match make.
7/22/2023 Venetian Parade Schedule:
Daytime – Begin decorating (cocktails optional) and preparing boats and crew at CLYC Pier (or offsite location of boats)
5:30pm – Cocktail Party at CLYC Clubhouse. Delicious authentic Venetian dishes (TBD-Chef’s Choice) will be prepared fresh and provided by CLYC
7:30pm- Begin leaving docks and congregation in front of CLYC/Town Grounds vicinity. CLYC pontoon will serve as the “Pace Boat.” Lap(s) around the lake by heading North (Counterclockwise) around the lake. Formal notice: Please be mindful of CL Dredging Guidelines currently in force.
8:17pm- Projected Sundown at CLYC on 7/22/2023
Complete lap after sundown and return to CLYC for MORE Cocktails and Hors D’ouvres!
