About the Cedar Lake Yacht Club

Cedar Lake is approximately eight hundred acres located in Northwest Indiana and is home to the Cedar Lake Yacht Club.  Established in 1934, Cedar Lake Yacht Club is located next to the town grounds on the eastern shoreline of the lake.

The Cedar Lake Yacht Club boasts as the only yacht club on Cedar Lake for boat enthusiasts and is a member club of the Inland Lakes Yachting Association (ILYA).  The yacht club’s facility consists of a club house, two cranes, and a boat ramp for launching, as well as, a 230-foot-long pier to accommodate members’ boats. The club’s membership consists of persons who own sailing vessels of various lengths, pontoons, and speed boats.  A number of members are not boat owners, but simply enjoy camaraderie and the amenities offered through membership.  The yacht club is a private, volunteer-operated organization.

For more information regarding membership, slip rentals, contact the club at 219.374.9812.
